Piesporter
Generally made in and around the village of Piesport, Germany, this white semi-dry wine is a close relative of Riesling wine and can be made of Riesling, Müller-Thurgau, or Elbling grapes. The Mosel wine region of Germany provides an optimal climate to give Piesporter wine great finesse, a plethora of floral and fruity aromas, and a crisp and exotic finish. The wine is produced from individually selected overripe grapes, resulting in a luscious and lively wine with hints of apricot, nectarine, and honey. The intense flavors have a lingering fresh finish - one you won't miss out on.
The moderate sweetness and juicy acidity make it a good pairing to serve (well-chilled) with a variety of spicy Asian cuisines, spicy cheeses like mango habanero cheddar, buffalo wings, spicy Italian sausage - and probably just about anything else you can think of with a spicy kick to it.
